It does seem however that a lot of excess time is wasted in Clean Master's animations. Obviously, there is no way to use both tweaks and see which one cleans better or faster because using one will clear everything so running the second one after it will give useless results. I hope this comparison covers most of the things a comparison should. You can have both installed at the same time if you want both. The trade-off just is that iCleaner doesn't offer the System Info view and RAM cleaning while Clean Master doesn't let you choose exactly what you want to include or exclude from the search. Want a good cleaning tweak with System Info as a part of the pack? Go for Clean Master. Want just a good cleaning tweak with extensive options on what you want to get rid of? iCleaner is what thou need. You can also disable warning popups and check for updates on the same page. ![]() Its obviously for testing iCleaner), exclude apps from the cleaning, view iCleaner's log file, restore and remove backup files (which get created if you use the Test Mode function) as well as letting you have the option to disable tweaks via an in-Tweak purchase. ICleaner also has a Settings page where enable Test Mode (in which it won't actually delete the files. ![]() ICleaner's Advanced Features also let you choose whether and which Languages you want to get rid of if any as well as stock imagers and wallpapers such as those that are on iOS for iPads. Things like Cydia Dependencies (removes unneeded dependencies), Cydia sources and files, logs, caches, application data and even Message attachments (can be set to Off, On or Smart which only removes the ones that won't show up in Messages). It does however let you clean things that Clean Master most likely doesn't. It'll do it, tell you how much it cleaned and respiring in 10 seconds unless you tap the button to skip the timer. You open it up, choose what you want to clean and hit "Clean". ICleaner, on the other hand, is a more dedicated to being just a crap cleaner. iOS already does RAM management and does it better than you or any tweak ever will be able to do. Again, RAM cleaners for iOS only make it worse for the phone. The Memory Boost and Junk cleaning screens are very informative and tell you how much RAM or data has been cleared as well as its effects on device performance (if you run memory boost, it will tell you how much RAM it cleared and how much "mobile speed" has been effected in percentages). You can also enable the option to remind you when more than 80% of RAM is in use. It even has its own built in reminder so that it can remind you to run the cleaner at a time that you set. ![]() I don't know why anyone would really want all this info available but its there in case you need it. It clears the cache, it clears the RAM (which you shouldn't actually do because iOS already does RAM management and does it better than any tweak or human ever could), it shows you your phone's "System Info" i.e current CPU and RAM usage, storage stats as well as WiFi network address, system running time, time since last reboot, general hardware info as well as battery capacity. If this was a war where features would be the deciding factor, Clean Master takes the flag without a scratch. I personally like iCleaner because its a no-bullcrap approach to cleaning and thats exactly what the interface conveys to me. Some will love the straight-to-the-point interface of iCleaner while others will like the more decorated look of Clean Master. Now I would say "lets look at the differences" but you already did.hahaha This is also evident by the way the tweak has been outfitted (which you will see below).Īnyways, here's two album of screenshots of both iCleaner and Clean Master which will be followed by an overview guide of them both.Īnd here's a sentence to add a gap between the two albums to ease the link clicking for mobile users. A some of you may have seen, we have another iCleaner-like tweak on Cydia called Clean Master.Ĭlean Master is made by KS Mobile i.e Kingsoft, the guys who brought us the famed (or infamous) BatteryDoctorPro.
